About me and this blog

Hi, I'm Helena and these stories are my way to preservere my creativity in a otherwise mostly facts-based life.

I believe the mind plays a great role in recovery and how someone perceive and deal with being sick.

Therefore Max's adventures will be about his journey into our body and how he helps fighting off infections and diseases. This way children learn to visualize what's happening when they're feeling unwell and instead of being afraid of their body, get a positive and entertaining picture of what's happening.

Also, if mere visualizing of  training ones muscles, without actually doing it, can prevent atrophy, then there's a good chance visualization of how the body fights off sickness can have a positive effect, too.

But most important, I just loved it when I was a sick child and my parents sat beside my bed telling me stories. Even if I was too tired to react to the plot properly (lying apathically around, though I might found it hilarious), those stories are still memorable enough for me to occationally wonder how the plot would have envolved, had I'd given my parents more feedback.

Since the story is just beginning to develope, it would be great to get some feedback about what you (and your children!!!) liked and if not why etc.

 Have fun reading!
